Property Manager

Our client is seeking a Property Manager to be responsible for the overall performance and all phases of property management for a portfolio consisting of approximately 25 sites comprising approximately 2.9 million square feet of GLA in the state of Florida.  This position is supported by a property management assistant in the client’s Hollywood, Florida office.

Responsibilities:

·         Oversee the preparation and implementation of operating budgets

·         Evaluate budget performance, tenant improvements, capital improvements, maintenance and repair projects

·         Coordinate companywide initiatives and programs

·         Interface with other departments such as leasing, development, accounting, construction and finance as well as with third-party vendors

 Requirements:

  •     Superior knowledge of commercial real estate, commercial facility maintenance practices, property management accounting standards and systems
  •     Strong financial aptitude
  •     Self-starter possessing strong interpersonal communication, organizational and analytical skills
  •     Creativity and strong problem solving skills
  •     Minimum 5 years’ experience as a retail property manager with experience personally managing in excess of 1.5 mm sq. ft.
  •     Ability to travel regularly
  •     Experience in commercial facility maintenance and property management accounting
  •     Advanced MS Excel skills
  •     Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  •     Professional designation such as CSM, CPM or CCIM strongly preferred
  •     Strong construction experience
