Job Title:                Leasing Agent

Department:           Leasing

Reports To:             VP Regional Leasing Operations

SUMMARY

The Leasing Agent is responsible for the leasing of a portfolio which consists of approximately 10-15 retail grocery anchored shopping centers and between 125,000 – 150,000 square feet of vacancy. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

•     Negotiate Letters of Intent and leases
•     Conduct competitive market and tenant mix analysis.
•     Be able to seek out potential tenants by canvassing and cold calling.
•     Provide written and verbal leasing reports on a weekly basis.
•     Prepare and submit annual leasing budgets
•     Prepare and implement marketing and merchandising plans for each shopping center.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of retail real estate experience with an emphasis on big box and small shop leasing required.  The right candidate must have excellent communication, sourcing, and closing skills and should have established contacts and relationships with current retailers.  Must be able to travel.  Must be proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office.
