Chief Operating Officer Real Estate Company located near LAX is looking for a Chief Operating Officer with extensive operations experience. Will be responsible for managing, maximizing value and cash flow of an existing commercial and residential portfolio. Needs to have a “buy and hold” strategy although needs to monitor the changing communities as well as the over extensions of the market. Understanding of when and where to make improvements that have a major impact on IRR. The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for the daily operation of the company and will have a number of direct reports including Accounting, Construction, Human Resources, Leasing, Legal, Operations, and Property Management. Job Requirements The successful candidate must have the following experience, talents and education: ▪ A minimum of 10 years Real Estate and Senior Executive level experience ▪ Bachelor’s degree required ▪ Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills ▪ Executive managerial, organizational, leadership and verbal/written communications skills ▪ Analytical and strategic thinker who can plan, organize, execute and report out ideas and results ▪ Experience working with an executive ream to drive an organization forward ▪ Must be very detailed oriented ▪ Adaptable, flexible, patient and able to work with little direction ▪ Ability to perform with a high degree of professionalism, integrity and business ethics
